As you may know, Red Bird grew from its original inspiration in 2007 into Red Bird Chapbooks Press with our first publication in 2010. Now, into our 8th year, we have published over 150 titles.
Many people have played a part in our growth over the years, whether as authors, artists, editors, designers, or cheerleaders, and we are truly grateful for that support. Thank you!
The job of managing Red Bird has grown rapidly and the physical needs required to print, store, and assemble the books has outgrown our volunteer supplied space. To meet these new challenges, we are moving forward with a fundraising campaign with a November kickoff. However, the first step is to build our list of people who care about what we do and we need your help.
Can you help us? Please share this link for joining our email list with friends and family and on your social media platforms.
To encourage people to join the Red Bird email list, we are holding a contest during the month of October. Each new person who joins before October 31 will be entered in a drawing to win and receive one of two unique mugs featuring our 2017 book bird. Grand Marais artist, Ann Ward, graciously created these two mugs especially for Red Bird.
Thank you for your help. This will assist us tremendously when we start our fundraising in November.
