Lois Baer Barr

Lois Baer Barr is an emerita professor of Spanish at Lake Forest College and an adult literacy tutor. Her essays, stories and poetry have been published in Spanish and English in journals, webzines, and anthologies here and abroad. Biopoesis won Poetica Magazine’s 2013 Poetry Chapbook Contest, and her work has received two Pushcart Prize nominations. She and her husband Lew recently biked from their home in Riverwoods, Illinois to New York City. They got lost a lot.
